Dr. Zimmerman has been an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Statistics since 2015. She completed her PhD in Educational Psychology, MEd in Adult Education, and Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics at Penn State, and BS in Psychology at Susquehanna University. Her primary role is teaching and coordinating World Campus sections of STAT 200. She is also a Research Colleague for the Quality Matters Program and a statistical reviewer for the American Journal of Distance Education. Her research interests are in online education, educational psychology, and statistics education for non-majors.
