Jay is a PhD candidate at Penn State University. He previously earned his M.S. in Applied Statistics from Penn State in 2017, and his B.S. In Finance from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2016.

Jay's research focuses on Bayesian inference with applications to animal movement.

Prior to starting his PhD journey, Jay worked in industrying, including having a role with J&J as a finance analyst. In his free time, Jay enjoys exercising, biking, and playing video games.
