Raquel Barata earned her PhD in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from University of California Santa Cruz in 2021. Her research interests include time-series analysis, spatial statistics, and quantile regression. She has taught a wide variety of statistics and mathematics courses, including STAT 200 and STAT 502 for Penn State World Campus.
