About

Dr. Veronica L. Bubb earned her Executive Doctorate in Business Administration from Drexel University in 2022, where her doctoral research focused on innovation adoption in clinical trials. She also holds an M.S. in Statistics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2009, and an M.A.S. from Penn State University in 2006.

During her career, Dr. Bubb has held several executive roles at small and large organizations, including COO and interim CEO. She currently consults at Altru Clinical Research with medical device and pharmaceutical clients on the design, implementation, and analysis of their clinical studies as President and CEO.  She is also an active member of the biopharmaceutical section of the American Statistical Association, where she has served two terms on the executive committee and was a founding member of the Leadership in Practice committee (LipCom). Her passion for teaching, mentoring, and coaching also fuels her business coaching practice, Elevance Business Coaching. At Elevance, she works with founders, board members, executives, and early career professionals to achieve financial goals they didn't imagine possible and a deeper tie to what matters most in their lives.

During her undergraduate studies, her teaching career began with mathematics course support as a tutor and substitute teaching at Pennsylvania College of Technology. She also taught at Virginia Tech during her Master's and has returned to teaching as an adjunct instructor at Penn State in the Statistics department in 2025.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, homesteading, skiing, hiking, boating, and camping. Her office mates (aka her dogs) have been spotted making cameo appearances during video calls. She is a lifelong learner and appreciates the opportunity that teaching provides to give others a sense of how powerful statistical methodology can be in uncovering new scientific discoveries.
