9.6 - Lesson 9 Summary

In this Lesson, we examined the relationship between a quantitative response (or dependent variable) and a quantitative explanatory variable (or independent variable). We are interested in whether or not the independent variable is a significant linear predictor of the response.

In the next Lesson, we consider a different situation. We look back on the example where we have a quantitative response and an explanatory variable with more than two levels. In other words, we look at the situation where we are comparing means from more than two groups.
