Welcome to STAT 200!
This course uses the textbook Statistics: Unlocking the Power of Data by Lock, Frazier Lock, Lock Morgan, Lock, & Lock.
As a time expectation, most students require 8-16 hours per week to be successful in the course. This is comparable to the resident version of the course where students meet with an instructor 4 hours per week in a classroom plus time outside of class completing assignments and preparing for exams. We find that the most successful students in this courses are those who do not wait until the last minute to complete assignments and those who post questions on the discussion boards.
